To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from schools with online programs.

The in-demand online bachelor’s degree programs at University of Missouri - St Louis helped the school earn the #5 place on this year’s ranking of the best general education schools in the United States. UMSL is a fairly large public school located in the large suburb of Saint Louis.

About 82% of the students majoring in education at the school are women while 18% are male.

While working on their Bachelor's Degree, education majors at UMSL accumulate an average of around $36,350 in student debt.

University of Missouri - Columbia did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular online places for general education students to get a bachelor’s degree. It came in at #7 on the list. Mizzou is a very large public school located in the midsize city of Columbia.

After completing their Bachelor's Degree, education graduates from Mizzou carry an average student debtload of $20,768.
