Chippewa Valley Technical College came in at #10 in this year’s edition of the Best Teaching Associate Degree Schools in the Great Lakes Region ranking.

Waukesha County Technical College landed the #14 spot in the 2023 rankings for the best associate degree teaching programs.

If you are interested in distance education, St. Augustine College is an excellent choice, since the school is online.
With a ranking of #17, Northcentral Technical College did quite well on this year’s best schools for teaching students working on their associate degree.
In-state students pay an average of $3,723 in tuition and fees if they attend North Central Technical College full time. Out-of-state students pay an average of $5,415. On average, associate degree students take out $14,435 in loans while pursuing their degree.
North Central Technical College does offer online classes for certain degree levels. Of all the undergraduates enrolled at the school during the 2019-2020 academic year, around 54% took at least some of their classes online.
With a ranking of #18, Ferris State University did quite well on this year’s best schools for teaching students working on their associate degree.

Alverno College did quite well in this year’s ranking of the best places for teaching students to get an associate degree. It came in at #19 on the list.
Alverno does not offer a discount to in-state students, so the average tuition and fees for all undergraduates is $31,258. This amount may be reduced if you receive financial aid.
Depending on your major, you may be able to take online classes at Alverno. To give an idea of how popular online courses are at the school, 24% of undergraduates took at least one course online in 2019-2020.
Indiana Wesleyan University - National & Global did quite well in this year’s ranking of the best places for teaching students to get an associate degree. It came in at #20 on the list.
If you want to attend IWU, expect to pay an average of $9,239 in tuition and fees. Of course, this could be reduced if you receive financial aid. On average, associate degree students take out $26,876 in loans while pursuing their degree.

Students from Wisconsin who attend Mid-State full time pay an average of $4,418 in tuition and fees. Those students who come from outside the state pay an average of $6,351. On average, associate degree students take out $16,908 in loans while pursuing their degree.

Cuyahoga Community College District landed the #22 spot in the 2023 rankings for the best associate degree teaching programs.

One thing to take note of is that Cuyahoga Community College District does offer online classes in some areas. Of all the undergraduates enrolled at the school during the 2019-2020 academic year, around 80% took at least some of their classes online.
Ohio State University - Main Campus came in at #23 in this year’s edition of the Best Teaching Associate Degree Schools in the Great Lakes Region ranking.
Full-time students from Ohio pay an average of $11,936 in tuition and fees if they choose to attend Ohio State. If you are from out of state, expect to pay an average of $35,019. Associate Degree recipients from Ohio State accumulate an average of $15,140 in student debt by the time they complete their degree.

Owens Community College did quite well in this year’s ranking of the best places for teaching students to get an associate degree. It came in at #24 on the list.
In-state students pay an average of $5,510 in tuition and fees if they attend Owens State Community College full time. If you are from out of state, expect to pay an average of $9,782. On average, associate degree students take out $22,371 in loans while pursuing their degree.
Some students may be able to take online classes at Owens State Community College. In 2019-2020 about 68% of the undergraduate students at the school chose to take one or more online courses.
Kent State University at Salem landed the #25 spot in the 2023 rankings for the best associate degree teaching programs.
By the time they get their associate degree, students from this school have racked up an average of $22,296 in student loans.
