In-state students pay an average of $15,698 in tuition and fees if they attend UMass Lowell full time. Out-of-state students pay an average of $33,624. Bachelor’s Degree recipients from UMass Lowell accumulate an average of $26,907 in student debt by the time they complete their degree.
One thing to take note of is that UMass Lowell does offer online classes in some areas. In fact, around 99% of the undergraduate population registered for at least one online class in 2019-2020.
Simmons University landed the #18 spot in the 2023 rankings for the best bachelor’s degree teaching programs.
Simmons does not offer a discount to in-state students, so the average tuition and fees for all undergraduates is $43,062. This amount may be reduced if you receive financial aid. On average, bachelor’s degree students take out $24,691 in loans while pursuing their degree.
Since Simmons is primarily an online school, it is an excellent choice for undergraduate students who need more flexibility than what is offered at some other schools.
With a ranking of #19, Bridgewater State University did quite well on this year’s best schools for teaching students working on their bachelor’s degree.
Students from Massachusetts who attend Bridgewater State full time pay an average of $10,732 in tuition and fees. Those students who come from outside the state pay an average of $16,872. On average, bachelor’s degree students take out $26,016 in loans while pursuing their degree.
Bridgewater State does offer online classes for certain degree levels. Of all the undergraduates enrolled at the school during the 2019-2020 academic year, around 44% took at least some of their classes online.
University of Massachusetts - Dartmouth landed the #20 spot in the 2023 rankings for the best bachelor’s degree teaching programs.
The average in-state tuition and fees for students at UMass Dartmouth is $14,408. Out-of-state students pay an average of $30,153. Bachelor’s Degree recipients from UMass Dartmouth accumulate an average of $26,727 in student debt by the time they complete their degree.
One thing to take note of is that UMass Dartmouth does offer online classes in some areas. During the 2019-2020 year, about 99% of the undergraduates at the school took at least one online course.
University of Massachusetts Amherst came in at #21 in this year’s edition of the Best Teaching Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Massachusetts ranking.
