Alternatively, you may choose a trade school or bootcamp that prepares you to enter the workforce with knowledge in a specific field.
To assist you in seeing some of the education options that are available to you, Teaching Degree Search has created its Best Teaching Master's Degree Schools in the New England Region ranking. This report analyzed 62 schools in the New England Region to see which ones offered the best master's degree programs for teaching students. The factors used to develop this ranking include those related to how in-demand the school us, the overall quality of the school, and post-graduation wages, and more.

Our analysis found Brown University to be the best school for teaching students who want to pursue a master’s degree in the New England Region .
If you are interested in distance education, be sure to check with the school since Brown does offer online graduate classes for certain majors. During the 2019-2020 year, about 59% of the graduate students at the school took at least one online course.

Quinnipiac University came in at #8 in this year’s edition of the Best Teaching Master’s Degree Schools in the New England Region ranking.

Brandeis University landed the #9 spot in the 2023 rankings for the best master’s degree teaching programs.

Framingham State University ranked #15 on this year’s Best Teaching Master’s Degree Schools in the New England Region list.

Fitchburg State University did quite well in this year’s ranking of the best places for teaching students to get a master’s degree. It came in at #16 on the list.

Simmons University landed the #17 spot in the 2023 rankings for the best master’s degree teaching programs.
Since the graduate programs at Simmons are primarily online school, so it is a great choice for returning adults and students who work full time.
Northeastern University Professional Advancement Network did quite well in this year’s ranking of the best places for teaching students to get a master’s degree. It came in at #18 on the list.
One thing to take note of is that Northeastern University Professional Advancement Network does offer online graduate classes in some areas. In fact, around 66% of the graduate population registered for at least one online class in 2019-2020.

University of Vermont came in at #19 in this year’s edition of the Best Teaching Master’s Degree Schools in the New England Region ranking.

With a ranking of #24, Assumption University did quite well on this year’s best schools for teaching students working on their master’s degree.
Since the graduate programs at Assumption are online, the school is an excellent choice for graduate students who need more flexibility than what is offered at some other schools.
With a ranking of #25, American International College did quite well on this year’s best schools for teaching students working on their master’s degree.
If you are interested in distance education, be sure to check with the school since AIC does offer online graduate classes for certain majors. Of all the graduate students enrolled at the school during the 2019-2020 academic year, around 14% took at least some of their classes online.
