Out of the 10 schools in Oklahoma that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Central Oklahoma landed the # 5 spot on the list.
You may have the opportunity to take online graduate classes at UCO. In 2019-2020 about 27% of the graduate students at the school chose to take one or more online courses.
Southwestern Oklahoma State University landed the #6 spot in the 2023 rankings for the best master’s degree teaching programs.

East Central University landed the #7 spot in the 2023 rankings for the best master’s degree teaching programs.
ECU is one of the schools on our list that is primarily online. Each graduate student at the school took at least one class online.
Northeastern State University landed the #8 spot in the 2023 rankings for the best master’s degree teaching programs.
Some students may be able to take online graduate classes at NSU. During the 2019-2020 year, about 76% of the graduate students at the school took at least one online course.
Oral Roberts University came in at #9 in this year’s edition of the Best Teaching Master’s Degree Schools in Oklahoma ranking.
