This report analyzed 67 schools in the Southeast Region to see which ones were the most popular master's degree programs for teaching students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the General Education program at each school on the list.

Our 2023 rankings named James Madison University the most popular school in the Southeast Region for general education students working on their master’s degree. JMU is a very large public school located in the city of Harrisonburg.
