This report analyzed 36 schools in Florida to see which ones offered the best bachelor's degree programs for teaching students. Factors related to overall quality of the school, post-graduation earnings, average student debt, and more accumulated were considered when coming up with this list.

Our analysis found University of Florida to be the best school for teaching students who want to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Florida.
In-state students pay an average of $6,381 in tuition and fees if they attend UF full time. Out-of-state students pay an average of $28,659. On average, bachelor’s degree students take out $18,875 in loans while pursuing their degree.
Some students may be able to take online classes at UF. Of all the undergraduates enrolled at the school during the 2019-2020 academic year, around 99% took at least some of their classes online.
A rank of #2 on this year’s list means Rasmussen University - Florida is a great place for teaching students working on their bachelor’s degree.

University of North Florida landed the #10 spot in the 2023 rankings for the best bachelor’s degree teaching programs.
Students from Florida who attend UNF full time pay an average of $5,964 in tuition and fees. If you are from out of state, expect to pay an average of $19,407. On average, bachelor’s degree students take out $21,077 in loans while pursuing their degree.

With a ranking of #11, Florida Southern College did quite well on this year’s best schools for teaching students working on their bachelor’s degree.

Miami Dade College landed the #15 spot in the 2023 rankings for the best bachelor’s degree teaching programs.
Students from Florida who attend MDC full time pay an average of $2,838 in tuition and fees. Those students who come from outside the state pay an average of $9,661. Bachelor’s Degree recipients from MDC accumulate an average of $18,535 in student debt by the time they complete their degree.

Southeastern University came in at #23 in this year’s edition of the Best Teaching Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Florida ranking.
SEU does not offer a discount to in-state students, so the average tuition and fees for all undergraduates is $28,320. This amount may be reduced if you receive financial aid. Bachelor’s Degree recipients from SEU accumulate an average of $25,851 in student debt by the time they complete their degree.

Nova Southeastern University ranked #24 on this year’s Best Teaching Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Florida list.
If you don’t receive financial aid, you can expect a bill for $34,570 to cover tuition and fees at NUS Florida. The school does not offer an in-state discount. On average, bachelor’s degree students take out $27,779 in loans while pursuing their degree.
Some students may be able to take online classes at NUS Florida. In 2019-2020 about 44% of the undergraduate students at the school chose to take one or more online courses.
Florida Memorial University came in at #25 in this year’s edition of the Best Teaching Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Florida ranking.
If you don’t receive financial aid, you can expect a bill for $16,836 to cover tuition and fees at Florida Memorial University. The school does not offer an in-state discount.
