Our 2023 rankings named South Texas College the most popular school in the Southwest Region for teaching students working on their associate degree. Located in McAllen, Texas, the large public school awarded 352 diplomas to qualifed associate degree students in 2020-2021.
The average in-state tuition and fees for students at South Texas College is $4,530. Out-of-state students pay an average of $7,920. On average, associate degree students take out $8,401 in loans while pursuing their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 89% were women.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Lone Star College System. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Popular Online Teaching Associate Degree Schools in the Southwest Region list. Located in The Woodlands, Texas, the large public school handed out 265 associate degree awards in 2020-2021.
