To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from each school on the list.

Our analysis found University of Northern Colorado to be the most popular school for teaching students who want to pursue a master’s degree in Colorado. Located in Greeley, Colorado, the fairly large public school awarded 420 diplomas to qualifed master’s degree students in 2020-2021.
Around 84% of those degree recipients were women.
If you are interested in distance education, be sure to check with the school since University of Northern Colorado does offer online graduate classes for certain majors. Of all the graduate students enrolled at the school during the 2019-2020 academic year, around 81% took at least some of their classes online.
The excellent master’s degree programs at University of Colorado Denver/Anschutz Medical Campus helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular teaching schools in Colorado. CU Anschutz is a large public school situated in Denver, Colorado. It awarded 275 master’s degrees in 2020-2021.
Of those students who received their degree, 81% were women.
CU Anschutz does have options available for those who want to take online graduate classes. You will need to check with the school to see if they are available for your specific major. In fact, around 75% of the graduate population registered for at least one online class in 2019-2020.

Out of the 19 schools in Colorado that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Colorado at Colorado Springs landed the # 3 spot on the list. Located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the fairly large public school handed out 180 master’s degree awards in 2020-2021.
Around 67% of those degree recipients were women.
One thing to take note of is that UCCS does offer online graduate classes in some areas. To give an idea of how popular online courses are at the school, 58% of graduates took at least one course online in 2019-2020.

Denver, Colorado is the setting for this medium-sized institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out master’s degrees to 171 students in 2020-2021.

With a ranking of #17, Taft University System did quite well on this year’s most popular schools for teaching students working on their master’s degree. Located in Denver, Colorado, the very small private for-profit school awarded 4 diplomas to qualifed master’s degree students in 2020-2021.
Around 50% of those degree recipients were women.
If you are interested in distance education, Taft Law School is an excellent choice, since graduate classes are offered online.
Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design came in at #18 in this year’s edition of the Most Popular Teaching Master’s Degree Schools in Colorado ranking.
RMCAD is one of the schools on our list that is primarily online. Each graduate student at the school took at least one class online.
