Our analysis found Boise State University to be the most popular school for teaching students who want to pursue a master’s degree in Idaho. Located in Boise, Idaho, the large public school awarded 254 diplomas to qualifed master’s degree students in 2020-2021.
Of those students who received their degree, 76% were women.
Depending on your major, you may be able to take online graduate classes at Boise State. In fact, around 80% of the graduate population registered for at least one online class in 2019-2020.
The excellent master’s degree programs at University of Idaho helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular teaching schools in Idaho. Located in Moscow, Idaho, the fairly large public school handed out 84 master’s degree awards in 2020-2021.
Of those students who received their degree, 67% were women.
If you are interested in distance education, be sure to check with the school since U of I does offer online graduate classes for certain majors. To give an idea of how popular online courses are at the school, 61% of graduates took at least one course online in 2019-2020.
You’ll be in good company if you attend Idaho State University. The school came in at #3 on this year’s Most Popular Teaching Master’s Degree Schools in Idaho list. Located in Pocatello, Idaho, the fairly large public school awarded 64 diplomas to qualifed master’s degree students in 2020-2021.
Of those students who received their degree, 61% were women.
Online graduate courses are available at ISU, but you will need to check with the school to see if they are available for your field of interest. Of all the graduate students enrolled at the school during the 2019-2020 academic year, around 82% took at least some of their classes online.
A rank of #4 on this year’s list means Northwest Nazarene University is a great place for teaching students working on their master’s degree. Northwest Nazarene University is a small private not-for-profit school located in Nampa, Idaho that handed out 39 master’s degrees in 2020-2021.
Of those students who received their degree, 74% were women.
NNU does offer online graduate classes for certain degree levels. During the 2019-2020 year, about 71% of the graduate students at the school took at least one online course.
A rank of #5 on this year’s list means The College of Idaho is a great place for teaching students working on their master’s degree. Located in Caldwell, Idaho, the small private not-for-profit school handed out 9 master’s degree awards in 2020-2021.
Around 67% of those degree recipients were women.
New Saint Andrews College landed the #6 spot in the 2023 rankings for the most popular master’s degree teaching programs. New Saint Andrews is located in Moscow, Idaho and has a very small student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 1 master’s degrees to qualified students.
Some students may be able to take online graduate classes at New Saint Andrews. To give an idea of how popular online courses are at the school, 70% of graduates took at least one course online in 2019-2020.
