To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from each school on the list.

Our analysis found Georgia Southern University to be the most popular school for teaching students who want to pursue a master’s degree in Georgia. Located in Statesboro, Georgia, the large public school handed out 576 master’s degree awards in 2020-2021.
Around 86% of those degree recipients were women.
GaSou does offer online graduate classes for certain degree levels. In 2019-2020 about 74% of the graduate students at the school chose to take one or more online courses.
You’ll be in good company if you attend University of West Georgia. The school came in at #2 on this year’s Most Popular Teaching Master’s Degree Schools in Georgia list. University of West Georgia is a fairly large public school located in Carrollton, Georgia that handed out 402 master’s degrees in 2020-2021.

With a ranking of #23, Middle Georgia State University did quite well on this year’s most popular schools for teaching students working on their master’s degree. This medium-sized public school is located in Macon, Georgia, and it awarded 15 master’s degrees in 2020-2021.

Wesleyan College did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for teaching students to get a master’s degree. It came in at #25 on the list. Wesleyan College is a private not-for-profit institution located in Macon, Georgia. The school has a very small population, and it awarded 10 master’s degrees in 2020-2021.
