Our 2023 rankings named Southern Connecticut State University the best value school in Connecticut for special education students working on their bachelor’s degree. SCSU is a moderately-sized public school located in the midsize city of New Haven.

The average tuition and fees for an in-state undergraduate at SCSU are $11,882 a year. Assuming that a graduate chooses a 10-year repayment plan, the average monthly loan payment is $174.
