Our 2023 rankings named Western Governors University the most popular school in the Rocky Mountains Region for special education students working on their bachelor’s degree. WGU is a very large private not-for-profit school located in the large suburb of Salt Lake City.

About 88% of the students majoring in special ed at the school are women while 12% are male.

On average, special ed graduates from WGU take out $28,370 in student loans while working on their Bachelor's Degree.
