To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from each school on the list.

Our 2023 rankings named Brookdale Community College the most popular school in New Jersey for teaching students working on their associate degree. Located in Lincroft, New Jersey, the medium-sized public school awarded 126 diplomas to qualifed associate degree students in 2020-2021.
In-state students pay an average of $8,804 in tuition and fees if they attend Brookdale Community College full time. Out-of-state students pay an average of $9,554. By the time they get their associate degree, students from this school have racked up an average of $15,007 in student loans. Of those students who received their degree, 82% were women.
Online courses are available at Brookdale Community College, but you will need to check with the school to see if they are available for your field of interest. Of all the undergraduates enrolled at the school during the 2019-2020 academic year, around 44% took at least some of their classes online.
The excellent associate degree programs at Rowan College of South Jersey Gloucester Campus helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular teaching schools in New Jersey. RCSJ is located in Sewell, New Jersey and has a medium-sized student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 102 associate degrees to qualified students.
RCSJ does not offer a discount to in-state students, so the average tuition and fees for all undergraduates is $5,550. This amount may be reduced if you receive financial aid. RCSJ does have options available for those who want to take online classes. You will need to check with the school to see if they are available for your specific major. Out of the 14 schools in New Jersey that were part of this year’s ranking, Camden County College landed the # 3 spot on the list. Blackwood, New Jersey is the setting for this medium-sized institution of higher learning. The public school handed out associate degrees to 86 students in 2020-2021.
