To help you arm yourself with the information you need to make your decision, Teaching Degree Search has developed this Most Popular General Education Master's Degree Schools ranking. This report analyzed 414 schools in the United States to see which ones were the most popular master's degree programs for teaching students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the General Education program at each school on the list.

The colleges and universities below are the most popular for education majors pursuing a master's degree.

Our 2023 rankings named National University the most popular school in the United States for general education students working on their master’s degree. Located in the city of La Jolla, National University is a private not-for-profit college with a large student population.
