This report analyzed 1,389 schools in the United States to see which ones were the most popular bachelor's degree programs for teaching students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from each school on the list.

Our 2023 rankings named Western Governors University the most popular school in the United States for teaching students working on their bachelor’s degree. WGU is located in Salt Lake City, Utah and has a large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 4,178 bachelor’s degrees to qualified students.
If you want to attend WGU, expect to pay an average of $7,452 in tuition and fees. Of course, this could be reduced if you receive financial aid. By the time they get their bachelor’s degree, students from this school have racked up an average of $26,218 in student loans. Of those students who received their degree, 88% were women.

Out of the 1,389 schools in the United States that were part of this year’s ranking, Grand Canyon University landed the # 2 spot on the list. Grand Canyon University is a private for-profit institution located in Phoenix, Arizona. The school has a large population, and it awarded 1,712 bachelor’s degrees in 2020-2021.

Full-time students from Florida pay an average of $6,368 in tuition and fees if they choose to attend UCF. Those students who come from outside the state pay an average of $22,467.
